The Civil Network for Rights and Development is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization founded by a group of activists in response to the recent political and social transformations in Syria.
The organization was established to address national priorities, aiming to support vulnerable and marginalized groups, enhance legal and community protection in Syria, and contribute to building a political system and legal framework that guarantees the rights and duties of all components of society regardless of race, color, gender, or religion. It reflects the hopes and aspirations of the Syrian people to build a modern and civil state.
A Syrian society in which individuals' rights to live in dignity and freedom are safeguarded, where the principles of equality and justice are upheld without any discrimination, victims’ rights are ensured, and perpetrators of violations are held accountable.
We envision a democratic Syria where everyone participates in decision-making, fundamental freedoms are protected, strong institutions support transitional justice and contribute to achieving national reconciliation, human rights values are upheld, and a culture of dialogue is fostered.
We are a human right, non-governmental, and non-profit organization committed to documenting and monitoring human rights violations. We work to protect the rights of victims, advocate for their causes, support efforts toward transitional justice, promote institutional governance, entrench a culture of human rights, promote dialogue, active participation, and reconciliation, as well as empowering youth and women through building their capacities
